Adopt-A-Highway

Having adopted the 2-mile stretch of County Line Road between Wauwatosa Road and Cedarburg Road in Mequon and the 2.5-mile portion of CTH A from CTH W to CTH J in Burlington, we gather to collect litter and promote community beautification and environmental conservation.

Guest House of Milwaukee

In striving to create a more vibrant and inclusive community, Kapur is committed to extending a helping hand, whether through donations, volunteering, or advocacy, to the Guest House of Milwaukee. The Guest House provides shelter, housing, education, and services to the homeless so that they may regain and maintain their independence.

Milwaukee Riverkeeper

Waterways are vital ecosystems that support a wide variety of plant and animal life. Knowing their importance, Kapur has adopted a stretch of Lincoln Creek along Lincoln Creek Parkway to keep it free of pollutants.

STEM & Future Engineers

Students exposed to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts early on are likelier to choose STEM careers later in life. This is why we oversee after-school activities for elementary school students and are active in the Future City Competitions that middle school students participate in. Cultivating that passion doesn’t end there, though, as we additionally offer mentoring and tutoring to high school students and serve as senior design advisors at the university level.

St. Joan Antida High School

Committed to helping this all-girl private school in its mission to prepare young women to become strong and determined, we volunteer to help conduct its fundraising events, including the annual Spaghetti with the Sisters dinner and its annual Gala.

Holiday Cheer

In the spirit of giving, Kapur wraps up each year by collecting items to donate to local organizations focused on helping disadvantaged children and families. In Fort Wayne, we collect toys and food for the transitional living program Mission 25, while in Milwaukee, we support the Marine Corps and Salvation Army’s Toys for Tots program through a collection of gifts.

Charity Challenges

Whether through the Run 4 Water MKE 5K run/walk to support the UW-Milwaukee chapter of Engineers Without Borders, the Beyond Design Bike Tour that supports the Eppstein Uhen Tennessen Foundation, or the Crazylegs Classic to support UW-Wisconsin's athletic programs, each year Kapur employees have the chance to break a sweat while giving back.
