Kapur led the design for two new 138kV transmission line projects in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin.
The Y-102 project included rebuilding and converting all overhead and underground 8kV distribution facilities to 24.9kV and reframing virtually all distribution system poles with 13-foot cross-arms. This included 1.9 miles of overhead rebuilding and approximately 1,300 feet of underground cable installation.
The X-105 project was done in two stages. Stage 1 included rebuilding and converting all overhead and underground 8kV distribution facilities to 24.9kV and reframing virtually all distribution system poles with 13-foot cross-arms. This prep work for transmission tower installation covered nearly 8 miles. Stage 2 included attachment of the distribution lines and equipment to ATC towers and rebuild of 8kV lines near Spring Valley SS. The total distance for this work was approximately 8.5 miles.
