The National Guard is always ready and always there, and Kapur is always all in.

Kapur was hired by Burns & McDonnell to provide utility coordination, design, and survey services at the National Guard base at General Mitchell International Airport.

Services included completing a boundary survey including all existing easements, a full utility investigation survey using Diggers Hotline, private utility lines identification and survey, storm, sanitary, and water main as-builts, as well as the use of SPAR 3D underground locating to find all possible conflicts for three planned additions to the base.

After the design was finalized, Kapur completed the site layout and design for new and relocated utilities for building additions on the base.

The second phase of this project included a topographic survey of the refueling storage tank areas. Kapur completed the site layout for the new (larger) fuel tank locations/connections.
