The I-294 Tollway reconstruction was a major undertaking, and a major part of it was the Mile Long Bridge Project in Willow Springs, Illinois.

Responsible for carrying thousands of cars daily over three waterways, local roads, and two railways, Kapur was entrusted to provide construction staking, layout services, and 3D modeling that supported construction activities on the project, which included:

  • two new bridge structures to increase width
  • improved stormwater
  • improved drainage systems
  • reconstruction of the 75th Street ramps
  • restoration of local roads used for construction
