This rural freeway project involved concrete pavement repair and concrete pavement replacement, which consisted mostly of night work on a 4.2-mile stretch of interstate freeway located just northwest of Madison.
The work included 8,427 square yards of 12.5-inch concrete pavement and 5,035 square yards of high early concrete pavement repair. Along with the pavement work, nightly traffic control closures and staging were required, which needed to be coordinated with an adjacent freeway project to the north.
