Kapur provided preliminary and final design services for a two-cell box culvert replacement which carries the expansion of CTH KR to a two-lane rural to a six-lane urban highway over the Kilbourn Ditch. The two-cell structure is 293 feet long, has an 11-foot span by 9-foot rise, and is 1 foot imbedded.
As part of this project, Kapur also delivered the preliminary and final design for a new one-cell box culvert carrying Wisconn Valley Way over a tributary of the Kilbourn Ditch. This new four-lane divided facility is on new alignment connecting CTH KR to STH 11, and provides access to Braun Road.
