A historic school receives its long-awaited upgrade.

The original site of Mukwonago High School was once listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and while the school is no longer there, it hasn’t lost its appreciation for preservation, which is why when it came time for renovations and a new football stadium, the school district chose the team Kapur was on to provide civil/site services.

Upgrades to the school included new and updated:

  • gathering areas
  • internal roadways separating bus and car traffic
  • lighting
  • loading docks
  • sidewalks
  • stormwater management
  • student drop-off location to improve safety

The stadium, which hosts football, track, and soccer matches, received a new artificial turf field and eight-lane track surface within the existing footprint of bleachers and a press box, which were installed the previous year, as well as new entrances, ticket booths, concession stands, sidewalks, ramps, lighting, and parking area.
