Before it could become Wisconsin’s tallest residential building, the 507-foot, 44-story Couture high-rise needed help from Kapur.
Assisting with as-built concrete elevations as it was being erected, Kapur also provided markings to allow the glass to be plumed to the building as-built.
From there, Kapur marked mullion locations as provided by AutoCAD drawings and checked the building layout surveyor elevations, covering 44 floors and additional special control points on other elevated buildings not connected to The Couture so that building movement could be accounted for.
Nearing completion, The Couture will feature 322 high-end apartments, 50,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space, and a 1,100-space parking structure.
